Day After...Tomorrow!
so we got rained out 2 weeks ago BUT we are doing them tomorrow! Hopefully the weather will hold.
I am excited. Even though its going to be in the city, the way we're dressing and the laid back vibe are so much more what pete and I originally wanted for the wedding, except we planned it to be on a beach.
He's wearing his tan suit and I am wearing my dress of course but the sash Yesi lent me and my pin and the red shoes I was originally going to wear.
We're hitting Central park and the MET and wherever else Laura's creative genius takes us-its an adventure!
So cross your fingers and hope for good weather girls. I'll post pics as soon as we get them.

YAY Jenn!!!! I can't wait to see how fabulous they come out. I'd totally go and follow you around if I didn't have to sit in a hair salon for like 8 hours! ugh!
Laura has a great eye - I need to talk to her about pics for us!!!!! Also, I wonder if she does maternity pics - I'd love to surprise my bro and SIL with a session since they're expecting but the funds are sooooooooooo low right now

yes! the conservatory gardens are a hike, but depending on where in CP you're going to be it might be do-able. that's where i did my pics!

It's supposed to be sunny in the morning, and maybe a couple of showers in the afternoon (DH calls me the weather bug LOL) so hopefully you won't have to worry about the weather!

Susi hose are gorgeous. I wanted to go there but you need a permit and we didnt feel like shelling out 150 bucks for it or whatever ti was. But I know i have walked through their before because its open to the public so not sure what the deal is. We may try and sneak through and see what happens. I just want flowers somewhere.

Jenn, I believe you need a permit for wedding pics but not for anything else. There's info on their website. I could be wrong - it was a long time ago that I looked it up... maybe carry your marriage certificate to show that you were married LAST YEAR and this is just a day after shoot.

You're so smart Yesi. This is why I keep you around-that and I get to borrow your stuff   Thats actually a good idea. I am gong to try that. It can't hurt to try. Its just a photo shoot-not wedding pics -snickers as she tries to figure out a way to defraud the law-

I used the same photographer.
See what Laura thinks, if you can sneak in and snatch a couple of shots, or at least at the gated entrance.
If not, there are tons of places to take pics at the park - in the playgrounds, at the zoo, Belvedere Castle,
There's always the fountain in front of the plaza.

Yea we didnt need a permit for our engagment pics but I caleld their info line and it seems for the gardens you do need permits 3 days in advance so that blows but I know I walked through there when i sued to take my early AM walking classes in the city so we'll see.
Belvedere Castle i on my list! You and I are like minds. I think it will look romantic in the background. LOL I have the pettign zoo too-Im a goofball so it would be fun to be photographed feeding the animals.
I want to take a pic with the alice in wonderland statue too and the playgorunds. Zusi have you been stealign a peek at my notes?!
