Anybody watch NKOTB on Today??

Boy I feel young again. I think they did awesome and they sounded good. Still have the goofy choreography but you got to love them. Danny got better looking.

Everybody in the crowd was average 35 years old. Weird sighting since you would be used to all the teenagers. I thought they can do without those backup dancers though but other than that they still have the Right Stuff. Sorry had to do that.

I watched it. It brought back such good memories. Thank God no one was in my office yet so I could belt out the tunes

okay - it's on People.com!!!

i know i'm going to get BLASTED for this.....so let me preface it with....

I was a HUGE NKOTB person back in jr and high school....my room was WALL TO WALL and CEILING NKOTB (yes - my mom & dad let me put pics on the ceiling)... I still have the cd's and listen to them regularly.......BUT....

i did not like the performance. They are too old to be doing the In Sync dance style moves that yes, they made famous, but it was just odd to see men in their 30's and 40's dancing like that.

Also - the songs were okay....but, obviously, their voices have changed and they don't sound the same to me...(there was no way to prevent this)...but i LOVE the way the songs used to be....

While i love this group more than any other in the world...i feel bad for Donnie. He worked SOOOOOOO hard to get out of the NKOTB mold and break out as an actor....and he did... I don't know what this tour is going to do to that 'cred'.

I'm sorry in advance...i was just let down and wanted to share....

I only caught the first part since I was running out the door to go to work. Being late for work because I was watching NKOTB on Today wasn't an excuse I wanted to make.
I have it taped on dvr, so I will watch when I get home from work tonight. I loved it, but I did notice their voices are obviously not the same as they used to be. I did not like the backup dancers at all. It brought back such memories of my teenage years!!

I watched it and they really didnt do any of the old moves at all-at least not that I saw. I agree-the older songs were just "ok" not fabulous.

The new single I absolutely LOOOOOOVE!

And I agree about Donnie but I wouldnt say I feel bad for him-he didnt have to do the reunion, its was his choice an dif I remember correctly he was one of the first ones to be on board for it, so I dont feel bad for choices he (they) have made.

New Kids made them who they are today-regardless of how old they are that "image" is never going to go away

I agree about the old songs they should have just did then normally not remixed but it was still a great performance. I think the rain made it more impossible for them to dance since the stage was slippery so hopefully their concerts are better.

I thought actually Jon broke it up by just walking away and Danny followed and then that was then end. I think Donnie was the one who thought it all up to get back together. Even though they don't sound like they did this reunion is still better than what the Spice Girls tried to pull off.

They just need now to get rid of those back up dancers.

Yes he was always like that but b/c they did cheesy dance steps then and wore ridiculous clothes we didnt notice

OMG Im so glad I wasnt the only one who noticed. I was cracking up. I swear at one point he snapped at the wrong time too. And he was like eyeing the other guys to see when to move. Poor JON!!!

I WISH I had old concerts to watch All my NKOTB stuff was thrown out looong ago.

Just watched it, and I think the best performance was of "Tonight." They were all in tune and no crazy backup dancers!

I like the new single but can't wait to hear the full version of "Click, Click, Click."

okay - i just watched it in its' entirety.

the problem i have is that both jordan and joey have STRONG voices and they are competing with each other.

maybe in a concert, not outdoors - it'll sound better...but overall...it just made me sad...

i did weep during tonight and dave will NEVER let me live that down...

poor jonathan - my true love...thinking back - i was ALWAYS into older men :) He's almost 40...let's give my old man a break!

I saw them, bu tI'm not a fan AT ALL. Iwill admit, they had a huge crowd and did a great job after 15 years.
