# photo proofs?
For those who have already gotten their photos-how many proofs did you get and who was your photographer? or est amount of proof when booking with photorapher (for those who have not gotten married yet).
When I go home I have my first meetings with some photographer: TP and Dan Wagner!
I am hoping to set up one or 2 more apts...
Thoughts on just getting proofs vs photo/albums...

we used SilverFox and had 2nd photog for 4 hrs. with that we got 1000 proofs on dvd and printed.
BUT they have changed their package now and they give you the dvd only, prints are extra at 30 cents. another BUT on this is that because they don't have to balance printing costs in their price they have INCREASED the number of pics they take to just about unlimited; you get the dvd and can then decide which if any you want printed.
if you have a newer PC you should be able to view thru them fairly well with a slideshow. and you can always goto cvs for prints
his price I believe is $1500 for 1 photog for up to 10 hrs and dvd included.
you can get an album after the fact with prices frozen from when you sign the contract which also gives you time to decide on that part of it.

2 photogs and about 600+ proofs from Patken. I know they took more shots but they delete the crappy ones before giving you the proofs.

well over 1000 from my pro-photog Stacey Ilyse. We also had our DJ's photographer taking "zap" shots, got a couple hundred from him. My brother and cousin were also snapping away (both are pro-photogs), so several hundred more from them.
Anything more than 800, you are going to start to go bleary-eyed. also, quantity isn't everything. You could have 1000 shots, but it doesn't matter if they aren't good.

They were all useable pics though. . .

I have ProLine and I requested a minimum of 1000 proofs. I have a photographer, and a Photo Journalist.
