I'm invited....right?
How many people have just assumed they were invited to your wedding?
In the past few months I cannot tell you how many people have said:
"I'm invited, right?" and "You have to invite me!"
No, actually, I don't have to do anything. Especially, when I barely know you or NEVER see you.
I hate confrontation. I think I just mumbled yes or sure...and hope they forget about it in two years!!
The worst, are the girls I'm BARELY friends with asking if they can be a bridesmaid. Thats when I just don't answer and hope it goes away.
In fact, thats actually how I got one of my bridesmaids. When we first got engaged she asked if she was going to be a BM and being put on the spot and not having thought about it at all yet I just said yes. Thankfully, I would have probably asked her anyway.

i am in your boat! I hate that so much! Why do people do that? I got a BM like that too and at first I was like ok I was going to ask her anyway and now I dont think it was a good idea. Grrrrr This is the most obnoxious thing people can do.

In the beginning i had people asking if they were invited, but now people have kinda stopped i think being that it is soo far away-to them at least
as far as bm's we are having only family members in the bridal party, so we didn't have to worry about any friends being hurt by not being asked

OMG! Just had this happen on Saturday with FH's aunt. She was telling people she wasn't invited b/c she didn't get an invitation. Well, HELLO! Its a 2010 wedding, not exactly sending out invites yet!!!

i totally know what you mean!!
This guy FH knew in college but wasn't going to invite to the wedding b/c he doesn't get along with FH's brother was like, "so you got engaged? Cool, i'll be at the wedding!" like errr dude we didn't invite you! haha!!!
One of my friends also was asking me about being a bridesmaid, i've decided that to eliminate all the drama w/ picking one friend and not another, i am just going to have family members (sister, cousins, etc).
ugh its so annoying!!

I get it all the time! Especially from people at work who I barely talk to... I feel like people just want to be invited to be invited not realizing I have more important people that I want at my wedding!
