memorial wording in program

does anyone have a sample wording to put in their programs in honor of those who have passed away?

I did mine like this:

In Loving Memory

We would like to remember those that could not be with us here today, we feel they are here in spirit and they will always be in our hearts. We would like to remember:

and listed their names...

I was wondering the same since we are having a In memory of on our program..jsut hadn't gotten to actually putting it all together.

Is anyone doing a memorial candle at RH? How do you set that up and where?

Saw this poem somewhere on here and saved:

We thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
we have you in our hearts.

I never thought to put something in our program. We did write in lieu of a favor a donation has been made to the American Heart Association in memory of Michael & Raymond (our fathers) - we also have it worked into our ceremony to mention them and we are doing memorial candles that I plan to place on the mantle of one of the fireplaces.

On this special day, we remember all our loved ones who are not with us. Through the years, their comfort and wisdom have helped to shape our lives.
