Anyone not staying in a hotel on their wedding night?
We already live together. There is a whole bunch of confusion right now with our hotel, and am thinking about avoiding all the drama, and saving all the $$.

We are not. The reason is because our flight is 5 in the morning and the reception is over around 12 midnight. So it made no sense to waste the money. We are going home and leave from there.

I agree with you about saving the money. We also live together already- fh thinks we should stay at the hotel where our guests are staying.

I think i am going to stay at my mothers, and my FH will stay in our apartment. no need to spend $ when my mom lives alone in a house with 4 other bedrooms

we stayed at home. we had an afternoon wedding, and there was just nothing more comforting than coming to our home and just relaxing, opening card, playing w/our kitty, and sleeping in our own bed. for us, we didn't feel it was worth the extra $$ for a hotel when we already lived together, and everything we need is at home.

i probably would stay home if i had to pay for it! (we live together) our rh was supposed to have a bed and breakfast on premises for us but it's not done yet so they gave us a night at a hotel nearby to make up for it...

We are sleeping home.
We aren't more then 5 minutes from the afterparty location.
Plus this way we can spend the whole next day in bed

I'm not, just the thought of packing for that one night then packing for the HM its too much. FH and I don't live together so I want to start adjusting asap.

We just decided that we're going to go home - we live together & leave for our 2 week hm Sunday ... I'd rather spend the money there then in a hotel room for 1 night.

We're going home...we are having an after party around the corner from our house...plus, I plan on staying in the next day to count the money and put it either into a safety deposit box or my bank account before we leave for the honeymoon.
