I know we've discussed what kinds of things to put in the OOT boxes, but I would really like to know what YOU would want as an OOT GUEST. TIA!!! Mary MOB

chips or pretzels
aspirin (b/c i always forgot to bring it with me. lol)

09 crashing here. I just went to the jones soda website and you can personalize your own soda and put pictures on the labels, I think it would be something cool for OOT boxes heres the link.

personalized water bottles
milano cookies
granola bar
potato chips
starbursts
hershey kisses
a can of arizona iced tea
pack of gum

I would definitely put snacks such as water, pretzels.. people may want to much on stuff after partying all night.. Oooh also some advil in case they wake up with a headache.

I love would love a granola bar or apple- its always nice to have a healthy option in there.

peanuts
pretzels

ADVIL!!! Cause you know your going to have some hung over guests and I'm sure they'd appreciate that!

snack food (candies, cookies, energy bars, etc.)
water bottles
a travel sewing kit and travel first aid items (tylenol, band aids, etc.)
a guide/booklet to the area so they can explore a bit (also a subway map if you think people may go into NYC for the day)
maybe also put in something "special" and unique to you and FH

for our hotel staying friends, our goodie bag or basket (not sure yet) will include:

a bottle of wine
scented candle
candies
water
a note from us

& still thinking of the rest ...

one MILLION DOLLARS !!!!!

I think these are all great lists - anything from small little comforts for traveling people to super lavish - they'll appreciate it!
we're going to do things that are native to LI / Brooklyn/NY in ours - i think that OOT's get a kick out of that. we're also going to be including our own little version of zagats - i have to come up with a cute name for it. just listing all of our favorite local places to eat and visit along with city spots. it just so happens that even though we live in brooklyn and work in nyc our favorite pizza, thai and bagel places are all out in LI right near where our guests are staying lolol - goooo figure.

we're hoping to do a 'morning after' delivery also with bagels from aforementioned place and a little wake up pack - asprin etc.

Side note - Tiny Thai in Farmingdale- try it out people!!! - its insanely good. slow service and long waits now that its discovered but people still keep going cause its that good!

Most prectical thing I ever got in an OOT bag was a Letter from the B&G telling where/when everything would be. DIrections to everything and a list of phone numbers for everyone in the BP and both sets of parents.
Also:
water
snack of some type (pretzles, chips, goldfish crackers)
granola bar, or a mini cereal box

small snacks, like the small bags of chips or pretzels, maybe granola bars

Definitely a list of things to do in the area and a list of restaurants with kind of food and pricing info.

As for actual objects, bottled water, a couple zip lock bags (sounds weird i know, but they always manage to come in handy when traveling), gum, some light snacks (maybe sun chips, and apple, etc.).
