It came out sooooo cute. I think it looks better the way it came out now for exactly what you said...I think if the whole thing was as fuschia as the lace and tie, you would've seen it through the dress.

wow girls thanks so much! it was super easy.. heres what i used as a guide..
directions
i used the directions on the box of the Rit dye that you can buy at any craft store.
a few tips... MAKE SURE YOU WEAR GLOVE...like the rubber ones you wear to wash dishes that go to your elbow. i found i avoided tie-dying doing the following things..
-while it was in the wash cycle going in and pulling it out to unwind it. (yes while the whole washer was filled with hot pink dye. hence the need for gloves to your elbows)
-after the wash cycle right before it goes through the rinse pull it out and unwind again.
after the machine completes the whole thing final spin and all.. take it out unwind and then put it back in and wash it with light detergent like woollight. this gets out all the excess dye thats left so it wont run on the day of your wedding. i did one wash.
i let it hang dry. and today i will most likely wash it again just to be safe.
