AMERICAN AIRLINES S*CKS!!!!!!!!!!

I'm scheduled to depart at 11:15am and I just got a call (at 4:15am) telling me the flight has been cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!

I just rebooked us for a 9am flight for this morning.

Pure Craziness!!!

Hate AA!!!!!!

Have a great week ladies.

Off to get ready and kick some serious @ss at JFK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ev, at least you were able to rebook for an earlier flight.
I also hate AA - their service has absolutely gone downhill and I have never seen such a bunch of rude and nasty employees, from ground crew to flight staff.
I fly Jet Blue and Delta now.

ugh, at least you got another flight!! I hope it works out fine!

i hate aa too! ugh! unfortunately sometimes i have no other option but to fly aa because of available flight times and scheduling we'd like, or like in the case of my friend's DW in the dominican republic, aa is the only airline that flies direct there from jfk!

Really? I could have sworn Jet Blue fies to DR now Yesi. MY brother I thought took that airline. Hmm ahve to ask him.

They do fly direct. But they only fly to Santiago ro Santo Domingo.

We always have problems flying AA. It ***** becomes my frequent flyer miles are through them, but we also try to fly Jet Blue when we can.

Sorry, should have specified - my friend's DW is in Punta Cana, DR and only AA flies diect from jfk. I know others fly direct to the capital (Santo Domingo) - like Delta, Jet Blue, and also to other parts of the country - just not punta cana, lol.

ehhh I ahte when stuff like that happens! Not a good way to start off trips!! Our honeymoon flight was delayed 2 hours and left 3 hours late! very stressful start to a trip!

I'd have felt better if we got to keep it but we stood in line for 25 minutes to get the card then moved to a new 15 minute line and they took it away....we were like WHAT????

In Anitgua you apy when you leave, BUT you have to remember to keep the card they give you when you arrive.
Talk about backwards.

When I get off the plane at Punta Cana, I know to have a pen and $10 in my hand to get thru the entry process. I walk right past all the other tourists who have no clue as to what is going on.

Tell me about it! We had the misfortune of flying with American Airlines to Puerto Rico in March. They had us sitting on the plane for 4 hours while they tested the engines. They could have easily told us to get off the plane while they did this, but no. We were hot, thirsty (yeap, no drinks either), and hungry. After 3 1/2 hours, they told us to go back into the terminal.
