Need to plan my sons B day party
He wants bowling and other sports...however I cant find a bowling alley that offers anything but bowling...and I cant find a sports place that offers bowling.........Do any of you know any where? I even tried to suggest the childrens science museum and he rolled his eyes at me ( my little guy is 100% jock at heart )

Whats wrong with just a bowling party? many bowlign alleys also have mini arcades so if you stock up on some quarters they can usually have a good time-2 uarters per kid or something. My aunt did that once when we were kids for my cousin. We had a ball.

We have done that before...he wants sports ( Ex dodgeball , baseball etc) and bowling.....he just may have to pick one or the other...I just figured if you guys knew of any where that there was both

Here are some links I found-some migth help you. The first one if you scroll down has a place listed called BirthdayLandExpress which caters to the older kids-pre teens etc.

Well, they have sports arcade games...
Maybe have the party at a local park and have a bunch of sports equipment on hand- a dodgeball, wiffle ball, lawn bowling, a soccer ball, basket ball, etc. Then they can choose what they want to do. Plus- it would be cheaper!

i'm there for ANYTHING you need...no joke! Date and time and i'm the ref!
we can get a few of those mixed game packs...they have the volleyball net, volleyballl, badmitton, things like that!

For a sports party, check Asphalt Green in Manhattan - it is an upscale fitness facility. I used to direct the birthday parties, but don't know how good they are anymore. They are $$$.
Check your local YMCA - they usually have sports parties on the cheaper side.
Also, check the new ice skating/wall climbing/gymnastics/other sports facility in Brooklyn (not sure of the name) - it is very modern and organizes many parties.
If you need ideas, FM me - I used to run children's sports birthday parties, so I have so many ideas!

I'm not sure where you are located but what about Sports Plus in Stony Brook? They have bowling, ice skating, batting cages and most importantly I believe they have a bar for the parents!
