Re: Laundry?????

I don't seperate a thing

I wash everything together (darks, whites, towels) on warm. If it has bever been washed before and its a dark color then I will wash it separate- but I live in an apt and it's $2 to wash and $2 to dry- so I try and shove as much crap into each load as I can!!

Re: Laundry?????

I separate FROM my laundry to drop it off at the laundry mat and have it done. Does that count as separating?

When I lived at my Dad's, I did everything together. So bad, I know...

I do msot things together... except i will separate delicate items (certain tops, bras, etc. )

I will mix darks and whites as long as the darks have been washed before and i know they won't run.

Me too and the towels go in the same load as our sheets. I typically wash with warm H20, with the exception of Scott's uniform which gets perm press. I like doing laundry I find it calming and I the smell of fabric softner.

Re: Laundry?????

I usually wind up with 4 to 5 loads at the laundromat.
Dark on cold
Lights on warm/cold
undies on hot
towels on hot
bedding on warm
sometimes I combine the towels and bedding in one of the large machines, especially if I have my Dad's laundry too.

I don't mind doing the laundry, I kind of zone out during the folding. I just don't like it when it rains and I have to carry it. I put DH's uniforms on hangers.

Same here- Only I have to go to the laundromat, so its more like $4 for a large load.

Re: Laundry?????

I separate them-whites, light colors, dark colors, and if necessary, things that bleed. Towels are always separate as well as anything covered in cat hair! I wash everything with cold water except bed sheets. There-my part in helping the environment!

Re: Laundry?????

We separate lights and darks and DH is a stickler for using cold water for everything. The only exception is when we do the occasional load of bleach.
