I'm so glad you're mixed too!! I always feel confused, b/c I love some bold designs w/ a lot of rich colors/fabrics, but I seem to like country style for a lot of things (we have a lot of distressed furniture)......so in our dining room, I kind of mixed the two, yellow walls, black distressed furniture mixed w/ pine distressed. so at least the black & yellow have a bold look.

I used to love shabby chic and I am kind of breaking out of that now.

I am not sure what I would clal it-DH loves traditional furniture; dark woods, heavy fabrics like brocades, here as I like to take those pieces and mix them with funkier eccletic stuff like indian inspired prints on pillows, brighter colore son walls and doorwayys, etc. Orta ecclectic I guess. None of it matches but it all "goes."
People always feel very comfortable at our aparment and compliment he "hominess" of it so I guess we're doing something right.
