DH and I have lotsa favs!! Im in PA so not all will be familiar...
Iron Hill Brewery- hummus appetizer and mushroom pizza
Guiseppes or La Locanda for Italian- carbonara or penne w/ pancetta
Bucca Di Peppo- chicken marsala or macaroni rosa
Athenas Pizza- pineapple pizza
Cheeseburgers in Paradise- fun and reminds me of my dad

I like Dempsey's on hempstead tpke. it's a spoprts bar but has pretty good food.
I like the chicken parm at Bertucci's but it makes you awfully thirsty after
and the brunch at Black Forest Brew House is incredible!
BTW do you know about Restaurant.com?
they sell $25 certifictaes for certain restaurants for $10. Once you buy the first and are on the mailing list they send notices of sales where you can get certifs for $5, $4 or $3. you pint them on your PC so you can doit last minute. they have restrictions that you can only use 1 per restaurant per month and each place sets how much you need to spend in a visit. some are $35 on FOOD ( not drinks), some $50 , some parties of 4 etc. in general not a bad deal. I just think don't buy too many or too far in future in case the place closes!!

OMG I totally forgot about their certificates. Thanks for the reminder. It will come in handy with Mother's Day just around the corner .

No, no it is not. I have a friends in Middle Island, Farmingville, Selden, & Nesconset/Smithtown  . I'm in Franklin Square/Elmont Southern State Exit 15N (Franklin Avenue).

Thai Table in Rockville Center I usually order red curry with beef or shrimp.
My other favorite place in House or Heart of Portugal in Mineola. I always forget which name it is. I usually get the lobster with shrimp and scallops in champagne sauce.
