I am so jealous - that's where I want to go but FH isn't as jazzed about it and it is too much $$$ for us... we might not go on one at all... we are trying to save for a down payment 
we were so close to the hosue or new co-op but then the bear stearns collapse and we had to pull back

How is your job working out for you? Do you cry a lot? I dont think I could handle it emotionally.
Honestly Ang, Ive only gotten like emotionally twice but I really really cannot show it. It really hurts though when I have to interview grandparents who dont know whats going on or parents who really care about their children and have done thing accidently. On the other hand there are parents out there that really dont care about their children, which is the sad part about my job.

WE have a great co-op with city view in queens but to get another bedroom is abotu 100,000 more so we started to look at houses on LI but western nassau- still our hope within next few yrs for hosue in western nassau

from page 1 to page 4 the convo has changed-i wanted to say a response to the "why are you waiting so long to get married" here's my answer...umm b/c weddings cost money and i currently lack that haha i would rather wait a little longer and get things that i want rather than plan quick and have to sacrifice things that are important to me. Plus..ive been engaged for 6 months now and it's FLOWN by...so can only imagine as it gets closer how fast it's going to come up!

I really can't imagine! We had an ACS case at my school where one of my Special Ed kids (I have a CTT homeroom this year) wouldnt come to school and the mom couldnt make him come and he was really depressed and they wound up putting him in this outpatient hospital program for a while. So sad!

I also have a co-op and I can't wait to start looking for a house. We also have one bedroom and I just feel like it's so not big enough for us. We're probably going to stay on the South Shore of Nassau

We live in fh's dad's house that he converted into a two family. Really, its gorgeous and its like owning a house but it's not OURS. We're hoping to buy it from him for significantly less than its worth but even that is probably too expensive for us.
