What took the most time?
In your wedding planning, what took you the longest to decide? Mine would probably be the color scheme, and picking the photographer & DJ.

It took us a long time to make the decision on the hall ... mostly because my opinions didn't match those of our parents who were paying.
And also for DJ ... mostly because we had been to a wedding where the DJ was awful, so we were afraid that we would have the same experience. It was an irrational fear b/c its not like it was the same DJ.
We were thrilled with both of those decisions in the end.

for me, the hardest things were the bridesmaid dresses and the photographer. everything else was sooo easy... i just knew what i wanted and it all fell into place. with me though, i took a lot of time with everything because i was on such a tight budget...there were lots of vendors that i liked, but i just couldn't go with bercause they were too expensive.

the color scheme, i knew i wanted a fall wedding, and loved brown for the dresses and everything else but was afraid years from now i'd look back and think "eww brown! what was i thinking!" but i figured no matter what that happens! styles change. everything else was easy. my sister just got married and we used all of her vendors!

For me it was the hall and the photographer. But I am so glad that I took my time and chose the hall and the photographer that I chose because they both were great.

ummm how bout getting him to propose?? lol I was planning on THAT for some time  (7 years together when we got hitched!!).....lol.....k, now I'll get serious.....the longest part of planning for me was the DIY projects, since it stretched throughout planning.
ETA- picking the dress was also a big fat pain!! it took me over 3 months, b/c I couldn't decide between a few dresses (still have the pics in my album to document the indecisive torture I inflicted upon myself!!

hmm, i guess it was probably deciding theme ... i went back and forth a few times in the beginning. and then just invites and jewelry i was indecisive about.
...as for the rest, it was crazy (but awesome!) how everything came together reallllyy easily. saw dress online- tried on at boutique and bought right there, saw OFC online- fell in love with it, visited and booked right away. photog, flowers, dj, officiant...pretty much everything went that way. it was such a blessing!
