Need advice! What time should i book my ceremony?

Hi all-

I just booked my reception hall!!! It is going to be a Saturday afternoon reception. Cocktail hour starts at 1pm. My next step is to book the church, but i just wanted to get some advice as to what would be a good time to book it (i'm guessing the ceremony will take 1/2 hour, but i'm not sure how much time a photographer would need to take pictures). My church is approx 20 min away from the RH. DO you think we would be safe with a 11am ceremony or would that be cutting it close?? (the earliest the church will do a ceremony on sat afternoon is 10:30am)

Thanks!!

I'd book it for 10:30. You don't want to feel rushed on your big day!!

Do you want to attend the cocktail hour? If so, then do it 10:30am; if you don't want to attend the cocktail hour, you can do it later.

I think doing 10:30 regardless is a smart idea, it give you and your guests 30 minutes to kind of chill or hustle if need be, a 30 minute window of opportunity is great
