'09er crashing~ If you wore an EOM or Amalia C. dress...

Can you please tell me where you got it?
I want a detailed VERY puffy gown w. pick ups. Not many places carry these dresses, I guess maybe they are not in style anymore? I was told I have to order my dress in the next 2 weeks b.c EOM takes at least 9 months come in!!! I am so stressed out, I never thought I would order my dress this early. HELP!!!

Do you HAVE to have a EOM or Amalia dress??? There are PLENTY of other designers that carry pickup style dresses including Demetrios,Paloma Blanca, and Maggie Sottero.. Look on some websites to see.. You don't want to limit yourself when there are soooo many designers out there!!! Good Luck!!

PS.. I wore pick ups and my dress was Demetrios

You know, just today I was telling my friend that I wanted to check out the Demetrio gowns. You read my mind! Gorgeous dress by the way, def. in the area of what I'm looking for. I tried on the Maggie Sotteros, and they were so beautiful, but I wanted "poofier". LOL. I even tried it on w. 2 pettycoats but it still wasnt big enough.
Why am I such a brat??? lol

Your dress is soooooooo pretty!!!!

I am so sad....I just want to find "the one" already.

p.s. I went to Kleinfelds a month and a half ago, but the lady didn't make me feel comfortable. She was nice but she wanted me to buy right then and there. She actually showed me an EOM dress that looking back now...I think I love.... but she mentioned it was a 2006 model. It was my first time looking and so I didnt really ask questions...but I cannot find a pic. of that dress ANYWHERE.

My dress was a Mori Lee, and it had pickups .... not sure if its poofy or ornate enough for you though.

Pics in my review

Lillette's in Baldwin has a few EOM dresses, and they carry a lot of other designers too.

Knowing what you want does NOT make you a brat!! You are wayyy ahead of the game knowing what you want and that's great!!! You still have spring and fall 2008 styles to look at... there may be something in the upcoming season of dresses that is just what you are looking for!!! The "one" is definitely out there!!!

I am so anxious, I can't wait to find the "one". Jesus, this is worse than trying to find a husband! lol. Well, I am getting ready to go to Demetrios in Manhasset. I have a 12:30 appointment today. Hopefully I will find something I like. Wish me luck!
