choosing BM dress
so 3 of my 5 bridesmaids are from OOT. the other 2 that are here are either (1) ridiculously busy with 2 kids, a demanding job, and a condo she's renovating to sell; or (2) kinda lazy and disinterested in the wedding (great friend but looks disappointed every time i mention the tiniest thing about the wedding).
do i just go pick a dress myself, or what? trying to get even 1 BM to go with me is impossible  and i want to book my flowers

i'm having the same problem (my friends don't want to even talk wedding, let alone set aside a time to pick a dress). i'm also wondering whether it's time for me to go look at the dresses, pick out a couple, and email them the choices.

i am going to pick out a few and email girls choices and listen to comments but final decision will be mine- I too have two OOT and one who is getting married this June so planning here own wedding and not time right now for dresses

i picked the dress my girls will wear it's a tea length and a-line so it will work with al their body shapesmy bridesmaid dresses..... but in champaign
my MOH tried one on and loved it especially the lil bit of bling on the lil belt thingie
I figued it's plane enough too that they could wear it again if they wished

Can you take your MOH? Maybe she can "model" dresses for you. Then pick like 3 that you like and have all 5 girls come together for like a "wedding planning" day or weekend (for the OOTs). And choose the 1 out of 3 that you liked for them.
Good Luck - I have 2 OOT girls. That's what I will end up doing. If they can't be there then I will pick the dress for them.

those are very nice and they CAN actually be worn again
