My 91 yr old aunt is very hard of hearing.. I can totally picture her yelling to the person next to her (even tho she doesnt know she is) during the ceremony that she cant hear.. She has 2 hearing aides and they dont work....
I hope someone keeps her mouth shut!

I just hope my mom doesn't start telling foul jokes
yeah most of my family is overseas and to get visas especially for a whole family such as wife, husband and kids its not easy to do. If they lived nearby they would all be here but unfortunately distance doesn't help. Yeah considering fh will have around 100 family members at the wedding, really makes me realize how much of my family wont be here.
i totally understand how you feel  i am not going to lie, it was hard BUT it was also great to see DH's family bc i realized how much they have become like MY family!!!

yes they had an amazing time
american weddings amaze them - italian weddings are lower key and sometimes dont even involve dancing. . . there is MUCH less food ( but i am sure better food LOL )
everything is more "homestyle" like at a friend's restaurant with another friend taking pictures for you. . . this of course is just hte experience with MY family i dont know how it is elsewhere
so btw my brother's wedding at the lighthouse and my wedding at JT they were shocked!
wow, so you and your family really showed the ooters a good time!
the lighthouse sounds amazing! I should have considered that, my mother adores lighthouses...

i have a great story!
MILs friend who is in her 50s got DRUNK at the wedding. So she was sitting in a van they got to go home and she has her head btw her legs trying not to puke.
So DH goes up to her and says "Hey what were you drinking you nut" and she was like "Great wedding i was drinking slippery nipples the whole night but now its so cold out mine could cut glass" ((PS that was NOT what she was drinking but anyway ))
DH was like  and ran away from her
Then she puked out the window the whole way home 
So many people puked at my wedding, thankfully none of them at the actual hall unless they were in the bathroom
all class i tell you, i should have asked people not to puke
maybe I should consider handing out airline barf bags with favor inside instead of favor bags?

I have an alchoholic friend and a drug addict cousin( who I don't speak to) who I will NOT be inviting to the wedding. F them , I have experienced way too much drama, I don't need it on my wedding day

seriously, i try not to post about it a lot bc i dont want people to think we are WT but so many people were like "great wedding, i puked"

Unfortunately YES,
my family is extremely loud and obnoxious. At my aunt's 50th birthday at a catering hall I couldn't find any of my family then when I look in the parking lot they all came stumbling out of a smoky van 
also FH's older sister we are having lots of problems with. She has been pretty nasty to me since we have been together (banned me from her baby shower etc...after giving her gift already to their mother) and I invited her to my shower which she proceeded to talk badly about my friends and family while there. FH has fought and uninvited her countless times but after many fights with his family, I knew she show up and cause a scene anyway plus I don't want to be the bad guy so we are still letting her come. I don't know why she even wants to come but I think its just to cause a problem so I am a little scared

yeah a few are hard that they wont be here but i understand completely. Its true though about fh's family, its like you said they are also our family now so makes it better

I have one better...
This same person was walking up the aisle to get up on the alter for my cousins Bat Mitzvah and her stockings were slowing sliding down to her ankles. OMG the hysteria that occured.. But she wobbled up to the alter gracefully and had the Rabbi help her take them off 
The videographer is laughing so hard on the video

Ya know, I didn't see it with my own eyes so Im not sure..I wouldnt put it past him tho. My friend came running up to me with a look of disgust to inform me that my FBIL and his bits were flapping in the wind outside..
