I think that would be beautiful. Get fake flowers from Michaels or Walmart (cheaper). Cut the stems and stick them into a styrofoam ball. Place the ball in the vase and fill with rocks or the glass pebbles....really pretty idea!

Nicole, have you tried the clear craft gel, that resembles water, to put your arrangements in? Mary MOB

I would say don't use stemless wineglass--go with something from Michael's or dollar tree. Dollar tree has something online where you can oder in bulk, too.

Re: Bridal Shower Centerpieces CHEAP! DIY??
Be careful with online orders....after you figure in the S&H, it may not seem to be such a bargain. That's what I have found. I've only been buying online for hard to find items (after I shopped the hell out of it) & mostly ebay. Flowers: Michaels, AC Moore (I wait for sale & coupons.....get on their email list for the coupons for AC Moore!) Walmart (love'em) & I always hunt out their clearance sections too...Joanne's, Don't forget Big Lots, Dollar stores, etc...I'l going to the flower district in NYC to find my perfect flower (I haven't found it yet). I've never been there before, but I hear it's worth the trip. Good Luck! PS stones can be very heavy & costly. What about an alternative? you can get GREAT ideas from save on crafts website.
