Woodbury Country Club Food
Has anyone tried the food at the Woodbury Country Club? Just wondering...am thinking about signing, and was wondering about the quality of the food and service if anybody has been to a wedding there.

When you go meet with them they allow you to sample the food. It tasted very good when we were there.

We went to a wedding there last summer. Although the food was plentiful, our dinners arrived rather cold. It was a large wedding, so maybe that played into it. Still, a cold dinner is a cold dinner.

I decided against them because I just wasn't too happy with the room we were offered, and the grounds in the front just weren't in great shape when we went. I guess I just didn't get the right "feeling" about it! Nothing really against the place...just not for us.

we just went to a tasting there on sunday. it was pretty good. Just ask them for a tasting and they will bring you out so much food. they gave us sample butler service items and entrees. Make an appiontment!

I went to a wedding there in 2000, I personally loved the food, and the waitstaff was very attentive. The only thing I didn't like about them was the fact that they made up wait outside in a sunshower for half an hour while the afternoon wedding was leaving... the grounds were beautiful though.

We went to a wedding there in May 2001. I remember the cocktail hour was pretty nice. I never ever eat @ weddings just because I am a picky eater--but I dont' remember the food being horrible so it must've been pretty good! The grounds there are beautiful!

I booked them for my 7/4/03 wedding and have tasted the food on 2 separate occassions. I thought the food was very good and everyone I tell about the place has always commented on how good everything was.

Do a search on feedback on WCC - there was another post awhile back, and lots of brides had negative feedback on them.

I dont want to make anyone upset, but I went to a function there two summers ago. My FH and I both got sick after the dinner, we both had steak. We thought it was a virus, but then we found out other people there who ate the steak were sick as well. However, this kind of thing can happen anywhere.

I didn't sign with them - all of the negative reviews had me worried! I signed with North Ritz instead!
