is this a good Florist Quote, or could I do better?

Hi Ladies,

Today I was quoted around 1200 for

Brides Boq
MoH Boq
3 BM Boq
2 mothers corsages
1 Grandmother Corsage
1 Grooms Boutonnière
1 Best Man Boutonnière
3 Usher Boutonnières
one fathers Boutonnière
5 high centerpieces
5 low centerpieces
rose petals for the Dias table, cake table and escort card table
Decorations for serving trays and such

The florist threw in the high candelabra rentals for free, we would be able to keep the low centerpieces, the flowers from the high and return the candelabras and reflects a 20% discount


Is this a decent quote, or would I be able to do better? I am a little hesitant, because its a blocked Vendor on here, but a recommended vendor for my hall.

Its hard for me to say bc my wedding has a lot more tables....

but I think you should def get a cple of other quotes and see if they are much less or more...thats a good way of gaging

also all the places I looked at included the candelabras/stands

Sounds pretty reasonable. The type of flowers you are getting can influence the quote as well. It can't hurt to get other quotes though, just so you have comparisons and other options. But it does sound like a very good quote.

Wow- Sounds almost too good to be true. It could be b/c its for 2010 though. Why is it blocked Definitley do your research on it. Have you tried searching this site for some reviews?

Actually it sounds a little high to me.

We're getting pretty much the same thing with 21 tables (1/2 high, 1/2 low), 7 BM's/GM's, Mothers bok's, grandmother, grandfather, fathers, two church urns or whatever that go up front, flowers for the cake, dias, and a tree for the card table, flower girl basket and petals, brides boquet, MOH boquet, and a tossing boquet for about $3000. Maybe my math is off, but it seems like you're paying almost 1/2 as much as us and getting less than 1/2 of what we're getting?

I'd shop around just to be sure...

ETA: forgot we're also getting flowers and bows at the end of the pews at the church, I think 10 with flowers?

That is definitely a good quote for what you got, I got alittle more CPS then you but everything else is about the same and I paid more
