Stuck between Turkeys or Trees!
Hi everyone! My mind is a bit of a mess! After talking about spring weddings for a bit, my impulsive FH & I decided to throw the monkey wrench into the whole operation and get married Nov. 28, 1008 @ Fox Hollow! Gorgeous Winter Garden which will have pointsettias set up inside (as well as a Christmas Tree in front entrance!) Now do I do a Thanksgiving/Autumn theme or do I go Winter-y Christmas? (Blues and snowflakes are out - future sis-in-law's theme) HELP! I am officially overwhelmed! LOL! Thanks

Re: Stuck between Turkeys or Trees!
Hmm I would do Christmas because it is more fun but you don't have to do snowflakes. Look at taryns wedding review and I postd some winter ideas. I like the idea of using vranberry as a main color because its still "fallish" as well.

Re: Stuck between Turkeys or Trees!
im getting married Dec 5 - BM dresses will be a gold/taupe color, flowers will be burgundy callas and black magic roses - i wanted to do something elegant that matched christmas but didnt scream christmas (i didnt want green or red) our hall will also be decorated for christmas....for our reception we are changing it from a christmas theme to a winter theme and we are doing blue ambiance lighting all around the room, branch cps with hanging votives/hanging crystals - we wanted more of a party feeling for the reception......the ceremony and cocktail hour will have one feel and then when you get into the reception room its going to be something different - im very excited about it - i like variety

I agree. This could really pull everything together and it is possible that Fox won't have all of their Christmas decorations up yet, so this would allow you to bridge the two holidays.
