Is anyone NOT wearing a slip or crinoline under their dress?
Is this one of those things that you SHOULD do!?
 
I'm just curious because I don't think one would work under my dress?

I don't think it would look right with my dress. It looked fine without it.
Kim, whats the logic behind the slip? Is it a more classy thing to do? I'm so out of touch its sad.

For me, the slip will add a little bit of volume under the dress and in my mind, I won't feel so exposed with a slip... I know that sounds insane, but I dont' want to feel nekid under there!

no... it has something under it like tulle; and they kept asking me to try it on with a slip and I told her i didn't want to wear a slip or crinoline. I don't want to be hot or uncomfortable.

nope not wearing one, there is no need for it on my dress.
There is plenty of crinoline built into the dress.
I also dont have to wear a bra because it has alot of structure and support built in!

Bonnie, if your dress has any tulle or itchy stuff underneath, you may want to consider a slip so you're not scratching all day. And wouldn't that be a pretty sight? A bride who can't stop scratching herself???

my dress has some crinoline in it, so when i tried it on, I liked it better without the added crinoline.
I'm going to wear a slip or something though, bc the crinoline was itchy..and it's august..so i figure it will be uncomfortable

i should never have listened to my bridal shop---they insisted that i HAD to have one when i ordered my gown.
i put it on that morning and hated every freaking second of it. we did pics before the ceremony and i swear it was pisssing me off how i felt it was making me hot---and sliding down on me (even though we put elastic in the band and double knotted it) and i had to keep kicking it in front of me so i wouldn't step on it.
when the ceremony was over--DH and i were escorted into the bridal suite and i said "get this FUKING THING OFF OF ME!"
a staff member helped him get it off me and i didn't wear it the rest of the day. my dress already had built-in crinoline in it
