seriously the place settings are $120. i thought i picked pretty middle of the road.
I don't think that is a crazy amount for China. That is what it costs! It will go on sale, right? Mine is normally $150, but it often goes on sale for $109 and sometimes $89. We received 5 settings, we will buy the rest.
Don't worry about what others say. They don't know what other people will buy for you. And if no one buys it, no one buys it. Leave it on.

I agree with the previous posters. Leave it on. Someone else may or may not buy it. You may want to buy it at a discount at a later date. Or not. It's none of their business either way.
Consider it a lesson learned in sharing too much detail about your wedding. Deftly avoid with, "Oh, let's not talk about the wedding. We've got it under your control. Wow, how 'bout that weather lately?"

I've learned to ignore people and their opinions on our wedding. If this is what you want then leave it on. They aren't the ones buying it for you so they shouldn't say anything about it being on your registry.

you girls are all so right! if they don't like the price move on to the cheaper sections of my registery. i want the china badly i host thanksgiving every year and i am tired of having to use my moms dishes i want my own! even if i don't get them all i will probably buy the rest and also i mentioned to my mom that it could also be a nice xmas gift!!!!
