My Week is almost over! QOTD - March 9, 2008

Its been a lovely week ladies, and I will announce our new BOTW shortly, but for now my last QOTD.....


Imagine FH and you are married 30 years, how do you see your life changing from how it is now?

Hopefully FH and I will be retired!!!! Which means we will be travelling all over the world, possibly preparing to become grandparents, and most of all I hope that we are just as happily married as both sets of our parents are.

Hopefully FH and I will be retired and traveling. I hope by then we are grandparents.

When I asked FH what he thought he said that in 30 years we will be sitting in the same spot on the couch The worst part is, he might be right

hopefully we'll be retired grandparents throwing delightful dinner parties for family and friends when we're not snowbirding it up at our south carolina beach house.

I would love us to have kids..... that are settled and almost married... and then grandkids.. and be retired and travelling and enjoying life to the absolute fullest without any worries at all

We'll probably still be working until a year or two later, and all of our kids would be in college

30 years...I think FH will be retired and I'll still be working and we will be cute little grandparents.

30 yrs from now I will definately have a son that is 43 and hopefully married with teenagers atleast, if not in college. OMG this is scary!!! But for FH and I ..... I hope to have atleast have one child with him and she/he will be giving us grandkids as well. I can see FH still working on his sports car and asking me to go out on the motorcycle , playing video games with the grandkids and us just growing old together. I see us retired and I will be taking care of my grandkids while l FH will be still working on cars. OHHH and having our house paid off!!!!

in 30 years i wish to be retiring with fh , and spending more time with our children and grand kids...and doing alittle bit of traveling

I don't see it changing too much...I hope we will be retired and traveling. No kids in our future so that wouldn't be a factor.

In 30 years I would like to have already done some world traveling. Hopefully i'll have kids too.

Good question...

I would hope that we are retired and living comfortably. Perhaps helping plan our children's weddings (You think LIW will still be around then? ) I would like for us to be happy and healthy as well.

Well, realistically speaking- I get my maximum pension from my company in about 30 years so I will be retired. I hope our kids are off and all grown up and living on their own as successful people. I want to have about 5 houses like FH's parents do and travel non stop.

I will probably still be working.... I can't see myself retiring... but defininetly will be doing more traveling.... def with kids... dunno if i wanna hear grandchildren... having my own children scares me.. haha. I guess I see myself happy with FH.

retired?? thats crazy...i know ill only be 52, so thats not going to be the case. most of us who live on long island will not be retired, we will be still working to pay off our mortages!!

hopefully we will be grandparents, but we are very young, so if we have kids in 4 years (which is when we are planning to) my kids will be 26, so maybe they will have children by then

i think that where it may seem to be a long time away, its really not.

We'll be on the MOM boards or whatever crazy technology they are using then!

retired? damn you girls are either older than i thought or have got some freakin' good 401k's going on,

we'll hopefully be a young 55 year old couple, who will enjoy our jobs and not dread going to work everyday. hopefully our kids will be in college (a cheap school!) and will be making us proud. hmm let's see, i hope we'll be comfortable financially and be own our own apartment in the city or house!
