It's on 9th - between 14th & 15th in Chelsea!!!

Here's the thing with this burger.... While raised, it's fed nothing but hops barley & beer! besides that, it's massaged daily to yield the most delectable meat around!

FH said that he hasn't had it since he was in China or Japan (don't remember which)..... it's called KOBE beef!

I believe the one you're referring to is Old Homestead. It is a little pricey but no different than any other good steakhouse in the city. The food is really good! Try the shrimp cocktail! They look like they're on steroids!!

I hope that it is a least with organic meat, no antibiotic, only grass .... hummmm that is why the best meat I have had was in Argentina!!!

If it's a Kobe beef burger, then $41 is actually a good deal. I have seen it go for $10 an ounce He better enjoy it!!

THere's a steakhouse by me that has Kobe steaks that cost I think $80-100. For one piece of kobe steak!!

FH was lurking and made a comment, so I am posting it here:

His company had a party/dinner there last year, and they had to send steaks back like 3-4 times, b/c they were not done according to the customer's directions (i.e. they were undercooked)... This may have been partially due to the large size of the group, but I don't think we'll be trying that place in the near future...

I saw on the Today Show this morning that there is now a $50 burger. It has foie gras inside and truffles on top. I guess the war for the most expensive burger is on!
