South Beach Diet...little update x-post 08 board
So after losing over 50 lbs on weight watchers, i figured my body was sick of it since i havent lost a single pound since just before my surgery. On Sunday (2/10), i started south beach phase 1 and in two days, i'm down 6.5 lbs!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really not liking much of anything that i'm eating, but i am LOVING the result!!!! Keep your fingers crossed that i keep losing!!!

Good luck! The first 2 weeks are the hardest...but the payoff is great  Congrats on the 6.5 lbs. Low carb usually has that affect on the body.
I'll be joining you on South Beach after 2/23

I lost a good 15 lbs so far on south beach.. the first two weeks were torture... and then after week 6 or so I kinda let myself eat anything I wanted (it was my bday!!!) so now, I am going back on week 1-2 for the next two weeks, just to get back on track.. good luck!

I was doing atkins then transitioned to south beach (felt like it was better for me)...and the first two weeks are torture! I also fell of the wagon after thanksgiving...it is soo hard to get back...but now I've set the target date.

Congratulations!!! I lost 25 pounds on South Beach before my wedding and found it was the easiest diet for me. WW was too flexible and I kept cheating. Good luck to losing more

I now agree. I was eating stuff on weight watchers that were within my points but i was surprised i wasnt losing weight. I'm now realizing, you cant have dessert every night hahaha
