baby shower
My due date is 5/19. Unfortunately there is alot of stuff going on in my family b/w the months of march and april and my mom would be craming in a baby shower somewhere in there. She was thinking of having the shower after the baby was born...that way people will get the see the baby too. The few things I need while the baby is just born...my mom will get me. Any thoughts on this?? Has anyone ever had a shower AFTER the baby was born???

Re: baby shower
There is nothing wrong with doing this. We did this for my cousin last year because she unexpectley gave birth when she only 6 months pregnant. The baby had tos tay in the hospital for 2 months. The baby shower ended up being 2 weeks before the baby came home.

Re: baby shower
Rose O'Donald had a baby shower for her first son, she adopted, after he was home. Thats the only time I've heard of this, but considering your situation I'm sure it won't be an issue. Its rather practical.

Its called a sip and see.
Serve finger foods and tea and/or soft drinks
