Question about Hair and make-up for wedding day
Has anyone looked into were they are getting there hair done and there make up done for there wedding day? If so were and how much? I am still looking for were I can get my hair and make up done for my wedding and I haven't found a place yet. I live in Suffolk. I am willing to travel but not more then 30 mins away from my house which is in Sayville. It be me and my bridal party getting our hair and make up done plus the mothers if they wanted to also.

Have you checked out the boards? Alot of brides have used the vendors on the boards and they will come to you on your wedding day. Also, they will give hair trials so that you have a idea of how you want to wear your hair.

I'm using my regular hair stylist for the hair. Not sure about make-up yet.

I've emailed Jen the Hair Genie and Oksana. They seem so highly recommended from all the other girls' reviews that I figured I would try them!

I e mailed Jacqueline Nicole...... for makeup!
She doesn't start with the 09 girls trials until April 08.. but I know many people that used her and LOVE HER WORK

a good friend of mine who used to work for MAC in roosevelt field does house calls for makeup - I'll be using her but I know a few other brides on LIW have used her as well her name is Gina and you can email her at BEENEST3@aol.com.....I dont know what her current rate is, we're friends from college and shes a really sweet girl....shes done make up for 3 of my best friends and they all came out beautiful!!!
