meeting with vendors before the wedding.........
so which vendors do we typically meet with before the wedding? All I know is the catering hall and the florist.....

yup--just to go over time and details.
same with photographer--you can touch base to make sure they know when and where and times.
but the big ones that you should meet are usually the hall, florist and DJ. everyone else can be spoken with via phone

DJ - song & gameplan breakdown
Florist - obviously the flowers & drop off locations & times
Reception hall - meet, go over menus, contact people, give them vendors you are using etcetera
Ceremony location - set up rehearsal date, meet with priest if applicable
Calls to make or possibly meet with ahead of time:
Limo - confirm locations & times
Makeup person - confirm times & style etc
Photographer - go over shots wanted, style, locations, times.
Let me see what else...
Give each vendor contact information & contact persons for the day. & make a list of your vendors, contact persons & numbers. Ask them to give you a number for someone for the day of if there is problems.

you can meet with the photo/'video if you have must take etc.
the officiant to go over the ceremony etc. thats basically all I did.

I can't wait till this wedding kicks into full gear- I'm guessing that will start w/ the 3 month countdown

we met with the DJ so far
The pastor wants us to call her
The photographer said he'd call a few days before
The videographer said he'd call a few days before
The florist & I have been in touch over email regularly...
