Davids Bridal in Lake Grove

Any feedback for this location? Do they have private rooms? Are they friendly and nice there? I don't need pushy consultants or rude!!!!

i had gotten all of my BM dresses at that location.. i found that they were super nice!! i had a great experience! they had private rooms for the brides, then other fitting rooms for BM dresses, and FG's. good luck!!

There are private rooms for you to change in, but when you come out to look at the mirror in front of your changing room everyone can see you.

Thank Heavens there are private rooms. Do I need to make an appointment or do I just go? Also is the Lake Grove location the new store?

there are some mixed reviews on davids bridal.. my suggestion to you is... just go and check it out! the worst that can happen is you hate the service and you walk out..
thats the only way you will know!!

I got my dress and most of my BM's dresses there without any problems!!

we had an appointment and it took 45 minutes for someone to come to us, then they didn't help us at all

I bought my dress at David's Bridal. I found that if you go off hours or during the week you get better service, which is not surprising.

Just make sure they have all your correct information. My bridesmaid ordered a dress and they supposedly tried to call me to tell me it was in but i never got the message. They finally called my bridesmaid who then called me.

They told her she had to come pick it up that weekend (the friday before Christmas) or they were sending it back. It was a madhouse by the mall that weekend. UGH. wasnt too happy about that. But otherwise everything was fine.

Is it just me or are there only strapless dresses out there? David's only had strapless dresses. Luckily i found one in the right style and price range.

I have been there twice. Ask for Amelia. She is wonderful. She is patient, honest, and has a great personality. She made my experience a great one.

I had gone over the summer and had a great experience. Ofcourse, I went during the week, early in the day, so I'm sure that helped. The name of the girl that helped me was Elsie or Ellie- something like that. She was very sweet and attentive.

I went there on a Saturday and didn't need an appointment. The sales woman was not pushy infact she wasn't there much at all except to bring more dresses to try on. My sister helped me put on all the dresses.
They were nice there from what I remember.

I stopped in a few months before my wedding even though i already had everything... i guess I was just curious. They were all really nice!

I was just there last month, and then again last week to get my BM's dresses, and they were great! You do need an appt. I couldn't go during the week, so I made an early appt on a Saturday. If you get there when they open it's not too busy yet. I used Ima, (pronounced Eema). I tried to be patient, and not have too many pre-concieved notions, and I was fine. My dress was in two weeks after I ordered it.
My girls had wanted one color dress and wound up in a completely different color. Just keep an open mind, and a polite attitude, and everything will be fine.
