UK Bride marrying in New York September 08
Hi Everyone,
We're getting married in New York in September, and i'm looking for some advice!
As we're coming from the UK, we're unsure of which hotel to stay in. We want one in Times Square preferably, so we will be close to most of our guests. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced, but nice hotel near Times Square?
Also, i want to have my hair put up on the morning of the wedding, but i can't seem to find a hotel with a hairdresser. Can anyone recommend a hairdresser, again near Times Square if possible!

There are so many great hair and makeup people that will come to you. My favorite is Sissi Chan for makeup and hair OR for hair only there is www.stylesonb.com (stacy pitt she does hair)
As far as relatively fair prices in the time square area there is The Time Hotel. It's still early here but I will think of more

Almost anything around times square will be a little more as far as hotels. THeres a few smaller hotels around the area but not sure about price. You can try the double tree which is right in times square, sometimes online you can get deals for this hotel.
Theres tons of salons in the city so you dont have to specifically look for one in a hotel. My hair vendor for the wedding is actually located in manhattan, not that far from times square but she travels to you if you want, she can come to your hotel room. Her name is claudia pedala and her sister does make up too. Other salons, about how much do you want to spend? be careful bc in the city salons will charge ALOT more for brides. They will charge $500 for make up to do it in the salon and thats the average price, some are even more. Let me know if you want contact info for hair and make up person i am using, their prices are less than the salons in the city.

You can try the Marriott in times square but pricing isn't the cheapest as far as hair sorry I do not have any reccomendations . Good Luck!

You're going to have an issue finding a decently priced hotel in Times Square - but there is the W hotel....
