Has anyone noticed....
If they have felt their stress/nerves/anxiety increase since its been '08? I dont know if its because its our year and i have this list of things i know i need to get done and have only 8 months to do it.....
We are also in the middle of moving so there is def a lot going on, but lately i just feel like I cant breathe.
Is anyone else noticing this and is anyone taking any anti-anxiety medicine? Does it work?

I'm not taking anys meds but I definitely feel the pressure since the New Year. I'm a little freaked out to be honest with you...lol!!

Thanks for the honestly, makes me feel better to know im not the only one.
I just feel like there is an elephant sitting on my chest and i think oh my god, if i feel like this 8 months out, how am i going to be like a week before...

I have felt that way since 12am on New Years and I'm getting married next month!!! Also we are going to be moving probally 2 weeks before the wedding so its so much stress!!!!!

Yes definitely!!! i have 4 months left with quite a few things left to do. This weekend i was stressing badly about things getting done and it was driving me nuts. Theres 2 big things i really need to get done and i already dealt with and it will get done soon so that is a HUGE relief. FH and i talked alot about things getting done, and this week he is calling a couple of our vendors to make more payments, our last one until two weeks before the wedding well not dj bc thats day of you pay the balance. I am also gonna get my flower samples. Its a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Still other things to stress hahaha but much better
No i don't take meds, i never have for anything like that. I have horrible reactions to alot of things.

Yes, i am very stressed out, i have so many calls to make, and things to do...plus the house construction, which FH wants my opinions on everything!
Plus work, and training someone new...its alot all at once!

well we've had to with most of them hahahaha, thats how they want it. With my RH they set up a payment plan and i have to pay them every 2 or 3 months. SOme of my vendors i had to do the same thing, well most of them actually. We had a deposit and either 1 or 2 installments during and then last day to pay off the balance. FH Has to call our dj today to pay 1/3 of it bc we got a bill...The rest we have to do soon so we'll just do it now.
Yeah maybe some quiet, relaxing time for yourself.

yea my anxiety level went waaaay up- because we are 9 months from the wedding & i have virtually nothing done- fh & i had a big fight this weekend over it- because he never asks what he can do to help- its not that he wont help, he's just one of those guys, you ask, he'll pitch in- but otherwise is content to watch football on the couch while i clean around him arghhh! anyway, so long answer but definite yes!

I'm not taking medication, but I definitely noticed since it became 2008 that my anxiety level is way up. Feel like I'm not being productive enough.
It will all work out though. It always does.
Oh and IT'S OUR YEAR! YAY!

I started getting back into the groove right after christmas. I gave myself a two month break really on any planning, and once christmas was over I started thinking about it since I had no more shopping to do, decorating, etc. I have been stressing big time over the honeymoon - we know what we want to do but trying to find a place where we can do it - and also thinking about the minister (need one!). My brain has been on the wedding (and on our savings) non stop since dec 30! :)

Oh my god! Im in the middle of doing that now!!!! We are booking it ourselves and we booked the flights like last month and i am doing the hotels today ( we needed our bonus' to clear)
We have been arguing about money a lot lately! We are moving back to Manhattan in two weeks and with the wedding its just been a little draining on the funds.

oh soooo glad i just read this post. yes - on Jan 1 i was like
"holy S-bomb!! We only have 9 and 1/2 months left! wait what happen to 11mnths and 10mnths~!!" yeah so i'm stressed - not just the stuff that has to be done - but like one of you girls said....'holy CRUD i'm getting married!!!! " lolol - i think we all should have weekly spa therapy :) lololol

I keep changing my mind on where to go so FH is starting to get annoyed with me. BUT i'm getting annoyed with him because all he says is that he doesnt care where he goes Not much help. BUT now we think we decided on a cruise. I emailed Tom (infamous travel agent) last night. SO hopefully we start doing something.
We've been arguing about money too. I should have the credit cards paid of by next month and then I'm calling to lower the limits!

i am so with you on that i am also in the middle of moving and which kind of makes the pressure worse ( i know i create this stress) anyway try to take it day by day the best thing is to keep an open line of communication w/ fh so that way you dont take it out on him- once you setttle in with ur move everything should start lightening up
