How far in advance do I have to book rooms for guests?
Did you write the name of the hotel you and your guests will be staying at on your STDs?

some girls do it really early but I did my block just about a month ago so about 6 months early. I suggest just early enough before the STDs go out. I didn't put it on the actual STD b/c there was no room but I put it on the website and put the link on the STD

I blocked mine 8 months in advance only because we have a lot of out of town guests. We put the information on our website and the website address on the save the date. We will put the hotel inserts in the invitatons.

My wedding coordinator told me to send mine out with the STD becuase my wedding is so close to Christmas, which i plan on sending out sometime in Feb. So I guess I will have to block them soon.
