had a good night
FH and i just cooked a huge dinner for his brother and SIL. i always think i cant cook...but i figured i would try...so i made a meatloaf (one-handed, mind you) and i decided to get creative...so i was just throwing random things in it, hoping it would be edible.
they raaaaaaaaved about the meatloaf and i could tell they werent just trying to be nice...i even thought it came out really good and im way critical of myself. they swore its the best theyve ever eaten...they even took some home. it really made me feel good. and we just sat around after we ate talking for a while and it was so nice....i really love my FSIL so much.
and then, both FSIL and FBIL got all excited...and they told me they booked the place for my SHOWER!!! and they were all cute about the fact that its a big secret. and FSIL asked for my guest list so i gave it to her. so now i know its in the works...YAAAAY!!
it was nothing crazy but im so happy...it was a really nice night.

that's great jeannette, I'm glad you had a good night with your FIL's. I honestly think anyone can cook if they put their mind to it but the fact that you did it with no recipe and just kind of fudged the whole thing proves that you're a great chef! I want that meatloaf recipe!

the arm is ok...i go from a huge arm cast to a short cast in 2 weeks so im looking fwd to that.

lol, if you can't remember that's ok, i have a meatloaf recipe that I use but I always feel like I'm cheating because I use the recipe from the back of the onion soup mix packages.
