I had a productive day, went to look at invites.
Please vote on which u like the best

#3 if i choose this one, i would choose a metallic paper, not this swirl design
#4 I cant customize the colors, it comes the way it is shown...i dont have brown anywhere in my theme, but they are a suede jacket and very pretty
#5 Again, not my color scheme but really nice quality invitation.

Nicole, I'm not sure what your invite budget is like... but I think letterpess invitations are super classy and beautiful! Have you considered those...?

Those are gorgeous, I know that there is an option for letterpress invites, its a little more than thermography.
I am just confused if i should pick a color not associated with my wedding colors

What are your wedding colors?
Also remember, it's not like people bring the invites to your wedding... I don't think the colors MUST coordinate, although it's always nice if they do

that's not boring! sounds beautiful
here's what i could find in eggplant... but your invites definitely don't need to be matchy matchy with your wedding colors IMO

my colors are eggplant and sage.....i want to use gold as my accent so i think i will do a creme and gold for my invites....havent picked them out yet...i have a girl who does custom invitations and is pretty decently priced....shes awesome...you should give her a call!!!

I personally like #4. Also I wanted to tell you that in that particular invitation you can change everything about that invite colors, fonts just about anything. I went to bleu diamond events and they showed me a ton of different colors. HTH.

i personally wouldnt do an eggplant invite but i also wouldnt start adding other colors like the brown one if it has to be brown. i would go with a classic white/ivory invite and keep it at that. the 2nd one is nice i do like the last if you could do it differently (colors). if you could do teh ivory or white and just add that little bit of purple (that thin stripe) i thik that would look reallly great

I believe that invite is from Encore, it's one that I briefly considered before ordering from MyGatsby.com.......Encore & Elite can be pricey, but they have a TON of brown/beige invites. FM Preshusmurf to get more info on this invite- her fam. owns an invite store in Oceanside....they have a great selection.
ETA- I voted for #5, runner up #4.
