Am i reading too much into this.. please be honest

to make a long story short. My MOH/sister has been giving me grief throughout my whole engagement. She has not been helpful at all. what i find interesting is she NEVER asks me about wedding plans like invitations, limos, flowers etc. However, she will ask me what my headcount is. who invited more people (me or FH). she knows we have a really small family. so what is she getting at. too me sounds like she is trying to stir up trouble

we just had a huge fight this week so i don't know if i am reading too much into this.

You're not reading too much into this, and you should be disappointed in your sister's enthusiam.

Sometimes, people are jealous of others happiness even if she is your sister. I am not sure if this is the case with you, but it kind of sounds like it. Just concentrate on the other people you are surrounded by who are positively involved in your happiness.

I agree with the post above. It sounds like jealousy to me... is she an older or younger sister? Not that it matters, but it really is a shame that someone you're close enough with to make your MOH could act so negative about your wedding, the most important day in your life. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

yes i do believe this is the case with my sister. why is she so interested who invited more people me or FH?? his family & friends are now part of my life as well now.

I know it ***** to have to deal with this now, but I'm sure once the wedding rolls around, she will be excited and will be happy for you like everyone else is. I know it's much easier said than done, but try not to let it get you down!! This is your time!!

Sounds like she is jealous! Watch out cause she could make you miserable. My sister is my MOH and is giving me grief as well.

We had a huge blowout over Thanksgiving. I told her if she did not get her dress in time, she was out of the bridal party PERIOD. She got it and has since been nicer to me. I am still worried though.

She is upset that her boyfriend of several years has not proposed yet. While I understand her pain, it is still my special day and she is ruining it by fighting with me on everything when she is my MOH and is supposed to have my back.

I wish he would hurry up and propose to placate her. On the other hand, if he does propose it would be just like her to quick get married before me out of spite. Nothing would make me madder than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If she continues to be obnoxious I would find a new MOH cause you deserve better. Also, you do not want her sabotaging your wedding.

i don't think she would do anything specific to ruin my wedding. she just knows how to push my buttons. for example i asked her several times who is doing her hair. she has a regular girl. my girl is opening the shop specifically for me.when i asked her at Christmas. she said " oh i am going to your girl" .. when did she plan on telling me????

she is just trying to drive to me a breakdown
