How do you handle the RD w/update
What did you or are you doing as far as RD invitations?
What did you use for ideas and when did you send invitations?
Originally we were going to send something with our invitations but it didn't work out and i'm not certain. It's not really a RD more like an out of town/welcome dinner.
I need ideas!!!

As usual it didn't work out like I would have liked it.
Since it's the only thing FIL's are covering for the wedding, they actually insisted that FSIL would make them. She had sent an email a few weeks ago and I never gave my approval.
Well apparently she's already made them up and I have NO say about it. We didn't want to say RD since its not a rehearsal at all.
Sigh...i guess I should look on the positive and say how I don't have to worry about it....but I'm really annoyed

I'm going to send out a cute invitation separate from the regular invites. I've notified everyone already via phone or email...
Here is a pic of one I found on here that I like...
No clue when to send it out though...good question...anyone?

That's what I did. I just told them the details. It was much easier that way and everybody showed up.

my inlaws hosted the RD at their house, and we just told people the details... no invites! it was informal and much easier that way
