im not sure but i think i want to give FH his gift the day of the wedding when he is getting ready - i think i will send it in with the photographer and videographer. i want them there when he opens it b/c he is going to be so excited - so i'll probably have them bring it in when they go in to take his pictures....and of course ill put a little note in there.... he knows what he is getting - a breitling bentley watch that he  's - but i want him to wear it for the first time the day of the wedding - since its his wedding gift - so what better time to give it to him than when he is getting ready im also having the inside of one of the links engraved with "I DO"

i think its really special if you can give it to them the day of the wedding--and hopefully the photographer catches it. if not--usually the RD is great.
i bought my DH a movado watch as his wedding day gift--but i wanted to give it to him ahead of time because it would need a link put in for it to fit properly

yeah probably on the inside of the link so only he can see it and probably towards where the watch closes. i think I DO is perfect - he surprised me with an engraving in my e-ring so i want to do the same for him

I am going to have it set up so the photographer gets a shot of it.
I am receiving mine at the ceremony -- it is my eternity band.

ugh these guys and their breitlings my FH is a watch fanatic - he is obsessed with watches - and only expensive watches 
i dont know where im going to get it yet - or where i am going to get the money we looked in fortunoff and the watch he likes was 8K but i think with the discount they give and no tax it was in the 6's.....still it makes me want to barf!!!!!!!!!!! but i cant complain thats nothing compared to what he has spent on me - i want to get it for him and make him happy! i just dont want to be broke!! i figure its a once in a lifetime gift so it can be an expensive one....plus there are much more expensive watches out there that he could have asked for instead

I was saving for about 1 year b/4 he asked me. I always knew I would get him a watch, so i just started saving. Breitlings are so darn expensive!!! But the look on FH's face was worth every single penny!!!!!

Thanks for the info! I didn't get FH a watch because the Christmas just before our engagement I bought him a Movado. If all goes well and I can keep my surprise I will have his BM give it to him when the photographer arrives.
