Bridal Couture of Manhasset feedback please...
I went shopping today and found THE dress a little over my budget but anyway....anyone have feedback I googled them and found not so good reviews but not recent ones.
I did have a great experience there today though.
Please let me know how they are now.

I FMed an 07 bride about her bridesmaids' dresses, and she said she got them at Bridal Couture of Manhasset and had no problems with them at all.

There are some places that get all negative reviews all the time, and there are others that get all positive reviews all the time, but both categories are in the minority. I've read a lot of reviews for bridal salons and most get a mixed bag...it really is a crap shoot because you never know what will go right or wrong. When I found my dress I bought on the spot, and only when I got home did I read negative reviews about it. But I had a really good experience and also learned from another bride that she had no problems either, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well for me!

I got my dress there too. Which one is it! The saleswoman was kind of a pain but, only one other place had the dress and it was in nj. It was a bit over budget but, after trying on a bunch of others I decided to go back.

I had Darlene too. I felt she was alittle too talkative! She kept going on and on and on.....But, she was still nice I just wanted her to stop talking

LOL! She did talk a lot!!
I loved the dress but it was a little over my budget. I'm scared I'll find it somewhere else for a cheaper price and it will be after I put a deposit down!!! Its a Daniel Thompson dress.

What I did was search the dress and get the style#. Then I went to the designers website and looked up in nyc who carried that designer. Then I called those places and asked if they had that style and if they did, how much was it. Most often, they will beat the price.

My friend got her dress there and had a positive experience. I would have checked them out but I was sent on a particular designer and they didnt carry her.

I hate to say negative things but I have heard many bad reviews both on this site and from friends. You can do a search on the BBB and there are some letters posted there. If you can find your dress somewhere else, I would go with another salon.

I HAD DARLENE TOO!!!
They were the 1st place i went to and i feel in love with my dress so i bought it on to spot.... i ordered it in October and will be going back to them at the end of the month to start looking at BM dresses....
So far so good!!!!

Hi I worked with Darlene as well and she was great - what's so bad about a little excessive talking?? : )
I ordered a Matthew Christopher there, but it has not come in yet - I'm also doing the maids from there - they've been great so far!

Kind of a old post but I had a great experience there as well. I dealth with Helen and she was really nice to me and showed me gowns in my price range. I purchased my gown there so I hope all goes well as the months to come.
