Any upcoming or Past East Wind Brides? (Hotels nearby?)

I had hoped to block rooms at the new Inn at east Wind because I'm having my reception at the Country Gardens but the prices are outrageous! 229.00 per night and you have to leave a 50%deposit to block the rooms (5 room minimum). WTF!

Where did you or where are you going to block hotel rooms for your guests. I didn't see too many hotels out by Wading River.

There is the Best Western in Riverhead RIGHT next to the outlets. I think they block the rooms for something like 169. I am having the same problem Im getting married at the Vineyard in Aquebogue and there arent any hotels out there either. I think the BW is like 10 minutes from East Wind.

We used the Best Western McArther which is now a Raddison

they were aweome

we also had the rehersal dinner there the night before an they did a great job

My Wedding was in August and with the Horse show down the road from East Wind, the Riverhead hotels were booked. A group of my guests stayed at the Hampton Inn at exit 62, about 20 minutes away. They liked it becuase it was centrally located and easy to get to.
