I need advice
I got marry on Nov 18, 2006 and all my friends are single none of them are marry it's being a year and a Month and I can't tell my single friends about my Marriage life because they wouldn't be able to understand, I get sad most of the time becasue i wisht i had someone to talk to about my marry life also my best friend is not marry and i can't ask her questions or advices becasue she wouldn't know what to tell me. Sometimes i see marry couples going out together and me and my husband can't go out like that becasue like i said all our friends are single.

I'm not exactly sure how to answer this- but most of the ladies on this site are married, so if you have an issue you need to discuss about your marriage, we are always willing to help. This is what we are here for. In time, I am sure your friends will start getting engaged & eventually married and they will turn to you for advice on wedding planning & marriage advice from someone who is experienced such as you & your DH. Give it some time & hang in there.

it is hard when you are married and your friends are single.
the best advice i can offer is that you need to go out and make couple friends- through work, through joining organizations (religious, cultural, sports, etc)

My thoughts exactly. DH and I were in the same boat until I found LIW, and I met some great people on this web site whom we even meet outside of here and do things together as couples.
And never hesitate to talk to us on here, or on the relationship board on LIF - we're all here to help.

i agree w/ this. give it time - im sure your single friends will couple up in the future. it also may be a good idea to try to make some new friends that are married. hang in there

Sometimes I find it easier around single friends to just discuss DH, without using the word 'husband'. Everyone, single or married, can relate to stories about men in our lives. You don't always have to refer to him as your husband. Relate to them in ways they can understand.
