Re: What are you putting/What did you put, on the back page of your programs?
I had the Irish Blessing dedicated to my late father. The back of the program is usually reserved for dedications/remembrances of those deceased. (from what I've heard)

Re: What are you putting/What did you put, on the back page of your programs?
A thank you and the Irish Blessing. I also found a Jewish poem to open the program with, which means both our heritages are represented.
Here's the Jewish one if anyone wants it (not you jenn)
From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to heaven. And when two souls that are destined for each other find one another, their streams of light flow together and a single brighter light goes forth from their united being. -Baal Shem Tov
And the Irish one
May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields, Until we meet again

Re: What are you putting/What did you put, on the back page of your programs?
The last page of the actual program pages (left side) we put in a thank-you and a dedication to all the deceased members of our families and those who were not able to be with us.
On the inside back page of the actual program cover (right side) we put in directions from our Church to the reception hall, along with the phone numbers and a mini map because it was a 40-minute ride and people were bound to get lost.
Edited to say that the inside front of the program cover we put the poem "Love" by Roy Croft.

The back page of my program will have a poem that I haven't written yet, dedicating the ceremony and thanking those who have passed..........

Re: What are you putting/What did you put, on the back page of your programs?
we had an 8 page program...so we didn't put anything on the back...but on the second to last page we dedicated our day (Bastille Day) to DH's late (French) father
the last page we put thanks to parents...a few specific family members that helped us out, but were not in the BP and our new address...
we also put a sentence asking everyone to join us for cocktails and dinner (since we were at the hall)

Re: What are you putting/What did you put, on the back page of your programs?
a quote from Whinnie the Pooh.
If you live to be 100, I want to live to 100 minus 1 day because I never want to live without you ~Whinnie the Pooh
It was something like that - don't have it in front of me, and it escaped mw - people commented about that quote during the reception to me!

Re: What are you putting/What did you put, on the back page of your programs?
We just ended our program with a thank you to our parents - and tried to express to our guests that we were really happy that they joined us. Here's what we wrote:
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our dear parents for their unconditional and constant love and for their help in creating this special day. A special thanks, too, to our siblings for all their assistance and support.
When two people join their lives together, it is said that their joys are doubled and their sorrows are halved. Being able to share this day with you – our dear family and friends – has greatly multiplied our joy throughout this special occasion. May we gather again often, in the future, to celebrate other joyous moments.
With Love, Amy & Marc
