If my wedding was after 2/14, Id probably take the prize and just invite those who are REALLY important to me. Since at my wedding I invited people who I really dont care to be there.
Hey its all politics, no biggy. There are still a lot of people who I want there.
The prize is awesome though and do it even if you have to marry yourself up there!!

thats totally cool. but i can see why it would be hard to decide whether or not to do it.. for example i woudln't be open to just 'any officiant' marrying me.. i want an honest to goodness man of God blessing my marriage, not someone who is an officiant for hire (jmo..) plus selecting which family members to attend.. hmm.. really tough...
hey.. can u sell it? like to another bride, on ebay or something? then u could make some money to pay off your other wedding! might also be nice for some after wedding pics or vow renewal...

Congrats!! I can see why it would be a hard decision. If it was me, I would do it but only invite immediate family, which for us would be less than 20 people, but then I would not have to agonize over which friends and extended family member to invite. Then I would just have a mini ceremony at the hall later on.

I would do it, but FH and i already live together so when we say "I do" doesn't really matter. February, June, we come home to the same house every day anyway so it wouldn't bother me. I don't know your situation. But if you and he don't live together yet... what would you do? Get married and still live apart for 4 months? Or move in together 5 weeks from now when you're not ready? That would be my only concern.
