Why doesn't he want to do it?
Tell him it's a once in a lifetime chance. You could film it and show it at the reception in June (escpecially if you're having plasmas, that would be so cool). It' so unique, you'd have story to tell FOREVER.

It's great, but I don't know if I'd want to do it either. I'd still want to have my "real" wedding (which would be after Feb 14, 2008) and I'd feel weird to have a second ceremony. I want my friends and family to be able to be there, this is so important to them.
If it was after my wedding, and it could be like a vow renewal or just a more elaborate "day after shoot" I'd go for it, but it's such a tough decision.
congrats though! that's pretty exciting if you decide to go for it

If my wedding was after 2/14, Id probably take the prize and just invite those who are REALLY important to me. Since at my wedding I invited people who I really dont care to be there.
