They told us they weren't letting us out early but that they would "turn a blind eye" if we left early. Whatever that means. I got screwed the last two early closings - mainly b/c my bosses can't get their sh$t together in time for me to leave early. I hate my job....

the guys here are playing golf in the hallway, one guy is playing with a toy car, everyone is in jeans.
i wonder if anyone ever works around here
the city is really empty today. I work downtown and its not as crowded or hectic like it normally is

I too am working, until 1pm. I just spoke with my assistant and told her that I am going to be taking her to an off site meeting. translation: I am taking her to lunch to celebrate the holidays from 10:30-12:30! By the time I get her back here it will be time to leave!
