Cute holiday wedding idea for next years brides..
A friend did this at Christmas Eve dinner at her house. She took 3 candy canes, tied them together with ribbon and faced the curved part of the candy canes in different directions, turned them over so they stood up and put everyone's placecards in them! It was adorable, and for a wedding, VERY cost effective!!

They stood up on their own. You do have to tie them pretty tightly and move them around to even them out, she used ribbon over those plastic zip ties to help.
