UPDATE: I'm DONE!!! ok, I need the newlyweds to cheer me on......
today is the day. I am officially beginning to assemble the LAST ALBUM..... OURS 
god help me, we have over 200 pics to put in.... all with little silver picture corners. I'm just going to dive in and try to get as much done today (in an album marathon) as humanly possible 
if you don't see me post in the next 12 hours, assume I officially stuck myself to the couch with those little stiky corners

I have the fun task of going though the proofs I just received to find the ones I want for thank yous, our album and parents albums. I am looking forward to it but not looking forward to it. So I feel your pain but it in the end it will beautiful.

It only took how many hours?
(I literally stayed on the couch this entire time... since I posted this thread )
the good news is the album looks exactly as I imagined I don't know if I ever told you all about my inspiration album. Unfortunately, this was while I was sitting shiva  A co-worker / friend of mine's wife passed away a couple years ago. He put their wedding album out... they got married in the early 1950's, in Iowa. They were married in the yard of a 19th century farm house. It was the most gorgeous album I ever saw. The pictures were mostly black and white, all 3.5" x 5.5".... they were put in the album with those tiny picture corners, and had the most amazing composition....
I'm happy to report that our album is a pretty darn good facsimile of their album Worth the several $k in photographer fees, the months of searching for the perfect retro ivory leather album and picture corners, and the hours and hours of sorting and sticking.....
If I do declare, it's my best wedding DIY

I feel like I just gave birth to a 14" x 14" book
yeah, while my inspiration album was 50 years old, my photographer unfortunately was also old school. I have no digital pics  his work was amazing, though. I can't believe I did it all in one day..... it feels so good to FINALLY be done with all wedding stuff
