do you ever get nervous?
To post a vendor your looking at and considering booking in case there are lurkers with the same date as you that want to check out the same vendor?

not really at all--but msflesch and i are using the SAME hair and makeup artist and are getting married the same day! (and we are both getting married at hamlets! im willow creek and she is getting married at the windwatch)
luckily-shes getting married during the day and im at night...

i did in the past..but not really anymore..plus my vendors for the most part..require a written letter from both my fh and I, and signed by both of us to cancel..so that makes me feel better

no but when I posted on here asking for recommendations for a wedding day hair stylist ....one of my date twins raved about Jen the Hair Genie and how wonderful her hair trial came out!
I called Jen and DUH she was booked for my day!! i felt so stupid!!!!

I kind of meant more like before you book with a vendor, just checking them out and pondering whether to book them and then writing your experience with them on the board. Anyone with your date can call that vendor and book before you do. Especially if vendors only do one wedding a day but most of those vendors said they would call if anyone else was interested in the same date.

I think i started well in advance when booking my vendors. Didn't do it for the 'booking up' aspect of it, but I did it to get started on slowly putting down payments..this way when my wedding time rolls around, i'll know how much needs to be saved up as well as hopefully having certain vendors paid off well in advance.... so I have no problems wih lurkers and having my vendors booked up :)
